And it’s believed that the BMW owner parked across two bays to protect his high-end car.

However, most drivers normally adhere to the rules in any car park, by only occupying one parking space.

The video uploaded by @justafunaacount123 to TikTok has gone viral on social media – with more than 316,100 views and 685 comments.

The poster titled the video:’ There’s always one’, while the caption reads: ‘Car parking c***.’

There is a possibility that you can be fined for taking up two parking spaces.

According to britishparking.co.uk, your car must be parked within the bay markings, or you risk receiving a parking ticket.

In 2018, signs from a parking company called Horizon Parking showed up at a Tesco branch in Stockton-on-Tees in North Yorkshire.

The sign stated a £70 charge if vehicles were not parked within marked bays.

However, people in the comments were divided – and some of them revealed that they also park their cars in two bays to avoid being hit by another car’s door.

One said: “You’ve got to protect your investment. No one else will.”

A second person commented: “I do the same after my car door got marked from another car.”

A third pointed out: “I do this too. I’m sick of coming back from the shops to find some heap rammed right up against my ride!”

Other users think this driver is selfish and should stop parking across two bays.

One said: “When I see someone’s car park like that, I park as close to it as possible.”

A second pointed out: “It’s a BMW, and the attitude comes along with it.”

This comes after a woman branded as a ‘Karen’ parked across two bays – before blaming another driver for scratching her Range Rover.

Plus, a driver who left a note on their car explaining why they took up two parking spaces has left people divided.
