A BMW driver has been caught doing as much as 124mph on a public road while overtaking another car.
The crazy speed was caught on another car’s dashcam and it led to the BMW being banned from driving.

Dad-of-two Wayne Sayce, 38, ignored the road rules to overtake fellow drivers at almost four times the speed limit in a built-up area.
Fellow motorists were so shocked at Sayce’s disregard for the limit they handed dashcam footage to police.

Road safety experts calculated the speed from the footage and found he was driving at 115mph – but could have been going more than 120mph.
A spokesman for roads policing partnership GoSafe said: “The driver of a BMW 5 series was witnessed overtaking at high speed on Phoenix Way, Swansea.
“The vehicle he overtook had a dashcam fitted and submitted the footage to GoSafe’s Operation Snap.
“GoSafe worked with Road Safety Support to calculate the speed of the BMW, which showed it to be travelling at 115mph, plus or minus 9mph.
“Enquiries identified the driver as Wayne Sayce, a 38-year-old man from the Swansea area.
“Due to the speed of the offence, no education course or fine was offered in this instance. Mr Sayce was instead summonsed court.”
Rugby coach Sayce, of Swansea, pleaded guilty to dangerous driving at Swansea Magistrates Court.
He was handed a 12 week suspended sentence and an 18 month driving ban as well as given an electronic tag.
The court heard he must take an extended re-test before he is able to regain his licence.
