Bleach x Loki Collaboration Details

Marvel Japan posted an intriguing image of Bleach’s Sōsuke Aizen and Tom Hiddleston’s Loki side-by-side on its official Twitter account.

The image was reportedly designed by Bleach creator Tite Kubo and was simply tagged as ‘villain project’, with no other details accompanying the image.

The post was made on Wednesday to celebrate Loki Day, and Marvel Japan commented that next Wednesday would be Loki’s “opportunity to become a colleague of…?”

Fans have come to the conclusion that the crossover will focus around the ‘Men of Betrayals’ theme, as Loki is known as the God of Betrayal and Aizen is known as the Grim Reaper of Betrayal.

Who is Bleach’s Sōsuke Aizen?

The antagonist Sōsuke Aizen from Kubo’s manga is captain of the 5th Division in the Soul Society’s Gotei 13.

Aizen is known for turning against the Soul Society, along with his followers Gin Ichimaru and Kaname Tōsen. Aizen declared war against the Society with an army of Arrancar –  Hollows that have obtained Shinigami powers by removing their masks.

The antagonist is known for using politeness and intellect to fool his comrades, when in fact the character is highly manipulative and a danger to most.

When Does Loki Episode 5 Release?

  • You will be able to catch Loki’s latest tricks on Disney+ next Wednesday July 7, 2021 and you can check your local release times here.

Loki is also known as the God of Mischief, which makes him an interesting character to pair with Bleach’s villain for the future crossover.
