Birthday Special: Karisma Kapoor shows off her impeccable comic timing in her best comedy scenes

It brings back memories for fans of the films that came out in the 1990s and the early 2000s, which had a very distinct flavour. Even though Govinda has a reputation as a comedic actor, Karisma was undoubtedly a match for him.

Biwi No. 1

The 1999 movie Biwi No. 1 is a top among the Karisma Kapoor films that were well-liked by the audience. The movie, another David Dhawan production, also included a large ensemble cast that included Salman Khan, Sushmita Sen, Anil Kapoor, and Tabu. In many romantic comedies, Karisma Kapoor follows the classic trope as a Plain Jane who transforms into a diva to capture her man’s affections in the storyline.

Judwaa 

In the 1997 movie Judwaa, Salman Khan played both twin brothers Raja and Prem, who were split up at birth but later reunited. Mala, a character played by Karisma Kapoor, is a woman who loves Raja. Despite the fact that the movie was primarily focused on Salman, Karisma managed to hold her own and, of course, did an excellent job. She demonstrated her range of humour and was equally intriguing.

Raja Babu

David Dhawan directed the action-comedy movie Raja Babu in 1994. Govinda and Karisma Kapoor, the leading on-screen couple, quickly became popular with the audience and developed a devoted fan base. And as we all know, David Dhawan recast the well-known Jodi in a number of his later flicks. The movie is regarded as one of their best to date.
