Allu Arjun, one of Telugu cinema’s most prominent actors, celebrates his birthday today. The Pushpa actor has captivated audiences all over the world with his charismatic dancing and outstanding acting range.

Allu Arjun made his lead role debut in Gangotri by Kovelamudi Raghavendra Rao in 2003 and went on to win numerous honours for the performance. He gained notoriety, however, after starring in Sukumar’s cult classic Arya (2004), for which he received a Nandi Special Jury Award.

His excellent acting talents are evident in how he changes his appearance, including his hairdo, for each film, demonstrating his commitment to the art.

Pushpa: The Rise – Part 1

Pushpa: The Rising is one of Allu Arjun’s most recent films. The movie starring Allu Arjun in an entirely new persona has performed astronomically well at the box office. The story revolves around a manual labourer who advances through the ranks of a smuggling organisation, making some formidable adversaries along the way. This Allu Arjun film had a massive box office collection in India. It has received various accolades and awards including seven Filmfare Awards South. Allu Arjun won Best Actor – Telugu at the 67th Filmfare Awards South.

Sarrainodu

Sarrainodu is one of Allu Arjun’s most well-known films. The plot centres on a violent confrontation between a former soldier who can’t stand injustice and the corrupt politician’s son. The film is directed by Boyapati Srinu. The film stars Allu Arjun, Rakul Preet Singh, Catherine Tresa, Srikanth, and Aadhi Pinisetty. Brahmanandam, Sai Kumar, Jayaprakash, Pradeep Rawat, Suman, and Adarsh Balakrishna play supporting roles.

It was a huge box office hit, being the second-highest-grossing Telugu movie of 2016. The performances of Arjun and Aadhi, the action scenes, the cinematography, the aesthetics, and the directing all earned great reviews from critics. Ala Vainkunthapurramuloo

The performance by Allu Arjun in Ala Vainkunthapurramuloo from the year 2020 has to be on the list of his best. The action movie told the tale of Bantu, played by Allu Arjun, who grew up continually experiencing his father’s disdain. But after discovering his true ancestry, he makes the decision to establish himself in the family to which he actually belongs. This Trivikram Srinivas movie lived up to the anticipation by including some humour and action. It was even adapted in Hindi as Shehzada, featuring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role.

Desamuduru

Desamuduru is a romantic action film directed by Puri Jagannadh. Desamuduru was one of Allu Arjun’s most commercially successful films and one of the highest-grossing films of 2007. The film was re-released on April 6 in 4k in theatres to celebrate Allu Arjun’s birthday.

Race Gurram

Race Gurram marked a significant milestone in Arjun’s career. This is Allu Arjun’s first film to gross more than Rs.100 crores, and it was a smash hit. Parugu

Parugu, the inspiration for Tiger Shroff’s debut film Heropanti, starred Arjun as a friend who helps a couple elope. As the parents of the girl, he assisted gather her friends and boyfriend’s friends, he is apprehended and falls in love with the girl’s sister. This marked the start of Allu Arjun’s career as an action hero. Parugu is written and directed by Bhaskar. The film stars Allu Arjun, Sheela Kaur and Prakash Raj. For this film, Allu Arjun won Best Actor – Telugu at the 56th Filmfare Awards South.

S/O Satyamurthy

In this film, Allu Arjun played a heartfelt character. The film portrays the son of a wealthy businessman who encounters numerous problems after becoming the family’s main breadwinner. The film alludes to events in the Ramayana and Mahabharata involving Rama, Sita, Ravana, Yudhishthira, Karna, and the dowry system. In addition, Upendra, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Nithya Menen, Sneha, Adah Sharma, and many others are featured in the film.

Vedam

Arjun is renowned for giving excellent performances in Vedam. It is regarded as one of the best Allu Arjun blockbusters. In this film, Allu Arjun plays the part of Cable Raju, a middle-class man. The film, which was directed by Krish, stars Lekha Washington, Anushka Shetty, Manoj Bajpayee, Manchu Manoj, Saranya Ponvannan, Deeksha Seth, and Nagayya.

Rudramadevi

Allu Arjun was brilliant as a warrior in Rudhramadevi, which transitioned from an action drama to a historical drama. The 2015 film was based on the life of Maharani Rudhrama Devi, the queen of the Kakatiya kingdom in the Deccan Plateau. The movie, which was directed by Gunasekhar, starred Allu Arjun as Gona Ganna Reddy. Allu Arjun was able to stand out despite the multi-starrer being primarily centred on Anushka Shetty’s character.
