Billy Turner: Aaron Rodgers is ‘so f–king happy right now’ with Jets

Aaron Rodgers is walking on sunshine.

Offensive tackle Billy Turner, who signed with the Jets last week, went on SiriusXM’s Mad Dog Radio over the weekend and spoke about just how elated Rodgers is at this moment.

“The dude just shows up to work, and he’s just so f–king happy right now,” Turner said, according to Fox News.

“It’s very cool to witness and see because it doesn’t matter how long you’re in this profession, it’s the type of profession where regardless of how long you spend in it, you can always experience something new. And he’s experiencing something new for the first time in his career, and it’s cool to be part of and watch.”

Turner was one of several former Rodgers teammates with the Packers, which also include wideouts Allen Lazard and Randall Cobb, who joined him with Gang Green this offseason.

Offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett, who worked with all of those players in Green Bay, also joined the Jets.

Turner thinks that their former team — which has moved on to Jordan Love — underestimated how much talent Rodgers has left.

“I don’t think the Green Bay Packers realized and understood what he had left in the tank. He has everything left in the tank,” Turner said.

The happiness factor is a sentiment that Rodgers himself discussed on “The Pat McAfee Show” last week.

“It’s been great,” Rodgers said.

“Everything is new. It’s like the first day of school every single day. There’s new people to meet, gotta figure out your routine, where the laundry goes, mail, cleats, weight room shoes and all the stuff. Everything’s new, exciting and fun.

“I’m just pinching myself a lot of days. I can’t believe it’s real sometimes. It’s been a dream for sure just to be here. I definitely feel energized to be in the building.”
