The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board – BCECEB has initiated the application process for the Bihar NEET UG Counselling 2023: Stray vacancy round, today i.e. November 6, 2023.
Candidates who had appeared for the examination and have not received seat allotment in the previous counselling rounds, can register themselves on the official website at .
The registration deadline for registration is November 8, 2023.
According to the schedule, candidates will be given their rank cards, and merit list will be published on November 9, 2023.
The Undergraduate Medical Admission Counselling (UGMAC) merit list takes into account the information that is filled by the students upon registration, and the results of NEET exam are taken into account while make the merit list.
Choice filling option for candidates will be made available on the website from November 10 to November 11, 2023.
Candidates falling under general, EWS, BC, and EBC categories will be required to pay the registration fee of Rs 1,200.
For SC & ST applicants, the registration fee is Rs 600.
And, for private colleges, the fee for all applicants is Rs 1,200.
Follow these steps to enrol for the Bihar NEET UG 2023 Special Stray Vacancy Round:
Step 1: Start by visiting the direct link to register
Step 2: Once there, locate and click on the UGMAC application portal.
Step 3: Input your basic details to generate a new user ID and password for access.
Step 4: Log in using the credentials provided by the system.
Step 5: Proceed to fill out the comprehensive BCECEB NEET UG application form.
Step 6: Make sure to upload all the necessary documents as per the guidelines and instructions.
Step 7: Complete the process by paying the counselling fee as applicable to your category.
Step 8: After thorough verification, submit the form and keep a printed copy for your records and future reference.
According to an official notice from BCECEB, candidates allotted seats in the Special Stray Vacancy Round will be considered admitted. However, if a candidate fails to take admission to the allotted seat, their Security Deposit Amount will be forfeited, and the allocated data will be shared with MCC, following MCC’s updated rules. These candidates will not be eligible to participate in any subsequent round of counselling.
Additionally, certain candidates are NOT eligible for the special stray round, including those admitted in MBBS, BDS seats through previous rounds of UGMAC 2023 counselling, those admitted through AIQ based on NEET UG 2023 counselling, and those admitted through NEET UG 2023 round 1/2/3/stray vacancy round/special stray vacancy round counselling conducted by other states.
