The STET results come after a span of 15 days following the conclusion of the examination. The STET examination was conducted online from September 4 to September 18, 2023.
Before the results were finalized, the BSEB released the Bihar STET answer key on September 19, allowing candidates to raise objections (if any) until September 20. Following this process, the final answer key and results were determined, with candidates’ complaints duly addressed.
More than four lakh candidates who appeared for the examination are eagerly awaiting the results. The STET exam carried a total of 150 marks, with no negative marking. Of these, 100 marks were allocated for subject-specific questions, while the remaining 50 marks assessed teaching skills and other competencies.
The STET examination was conducted as a computer-based test, with each question being multiple-choice. Candidates received one mark for each correct answer. The examination was held in two shifts, with the first shift covering subjects for 9th and 10th grades and the second shift for 11th and 12th-grade subjects. Notably, this examination marked the simultaneous conduct of tests for 46 different subjects, including 17 subjects in Paper-1 and 29 subjects in Paper-2.
The Bihar Board STET result will be prepared using a marks normalization method to ensure fairness and accuracy. Candidates who participated in the Bihar State Teacher Eligibility Test can check their results on the official website at bsebstet.com.
To raise objections or challenges regarding the results, candidates were required to pay a fee of Rs 50 using Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking, as per the guidelines provided.
The STET examination encompasses a wide range of subjects, including Hindi, Urdu, Bengali, Maithili, Sanskrit, Arabic, Persian, Bhojpuri, English, mathematics, physics, social science, physical education, fine arts, and dance.
