BGSW CEO addresses IIM Vizag EMBA students – Times of India

Visakhapatnam: Bosch Global Software Technologies CEO, president and managing director, Dattatri Salagame, delivered a special talk to the participants of EMBA programme at IIM Visakhapatnam on Wednesday. The session was organised as part of the first campus immersion module for the EMBA Batch 2023-25.
Dattatri’s talk on ‘leading in changing times’ focussed on the changes that are happening primarily on geo-political, technology, consumers, societies, workforce, and sustainability front. He spoke about the competencies and leadership approach that would be needed to lead in such changing times, and on the need for hypothesis-based decision making, shared value creation, and multidimensional leadership. Taking the case of the automotive industry, Dattatri explained how Bosch is transforming itself from an industrial behemoth to a technology major.
IIM Vizag director Prof M Chandrasekhar said that the institute is committed to provide high quality management education to the working professionals and will continue to design and deliver programmes to help corporate leaders create innovative solutions for business, government, and society.
BGSW head – government and corporate relations Veera Reddy Dwarampudi and BGSW manager mobility solutions, office of president and MD Manoj Ekkundi were also present during the event. EMBA programme chairperson Prof Happy Paul, executive education programmes chairperson Prof Preeti Virdi, and other faculty and staff of IIM Visakhapatnam participated in the programme.
