BGMI fans, you can finally play the game on Android and iOS phones
BattleGrounds Mobile India (BGMI) is now playable in India. The company has finally rolled out update 2.5 of BGMI welcoming its ‘beloved fans to embark on an amazing journey’ in an all-new BGMI.
The game was made available on Google Play Store on May 27. It is finally playable on Android. “Put on your parachutes; Assemble your squads. India Ki Heartbeat BGMI is back!,” reads a Play Store listing of the game.
The multi-player game has made a comeback in the country after almost a year-long ban by the Indian government. As part of the comeback, the company is giving four permanent and free reward outfits to its users.
As of writing the story, the game is still not available on Apple App Store. It is likely to be available by the end of the day.
What is new with BGMI 2.5?
The BGMI now comes with an all-new tropical map – Nusa that will need one to rework rushes and calls all over again. “A map with overflowing supplies, so that you don’t run out. With elevators, huts on fire, tactical crossbows and ziplines, it’s madness out there,” reads the Play Store description.
Nusa will also feature the Tactical Crossbow and NS2000 Shotgun. Users can also ride in the new Quad, a nimble 2-seater vehicle with outstanding stability.
The new face of annihilation has stepped onto the Battlegrounds as Stygian Liege X-Suit. The Super Recall feature is specially designed for the squad mate who always gets finished, zip lines are deployed so that you can change your strategy anytime and of course, the exclusive super weapons for classy finishes!
BGMI is a battle royale game where multiple players employ strategies to fight and be the last man standing on the battlegrounds. It is free-to-play and features diverse maps with different terrains in a virtual setting.
