BGMI Can be Downloaded on Android Right Now, Here’s How
Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) seems to be available to download on Google Play Store for Android users. Krafton, the publisher behind the popular battle royale mobile game, recently announced the return of the game to the country. While there is no official release date shared, some users can already download the game on Android.
IGN India has reached out to Krafton India for more information about this. It also looks like things are just limited to downloads for interested BGMI fans. Let’s check everything you need to know about BGMI and its return, including how to download the game here.
How to download BGMI on Android
The game won’t appear if you search for it on the Google Play Store. Instead, you can head to the Battlegrounds Mobile India official website and tap on the “Get it on Google Play” button. This will take you directly to the Play Store listing for BGMI. Here, you will see the option to install the game on your device.
If that doesn’t work, you can also try the direct Google Play Store link, this will take you to the BGMI listing on the Android app store.
BGMI is not yet available to play
Although you can install BGMI on your Android phone, you still won’t be able to play the game yet. This is because BGMI servers are still unavailable. When you open up the game and try to log in, you will be greeted with the following message:
Hello BGMI fan!
BGMI servers will be unavailable for a while to come up with a better and bigger experience.
While we are working to give you a seamless experience, your account will be safe, and your progress till now will be retained.
We will keep you informed of further developments and the release date through our social media platforms.
With all this, you’re all geared up for a power-packed adventure! Remember, play responsibly! Game on! See you in the BATTLEGROUNDS!
Love,
KRAFTON
When BGMI becomes available to download, it won’t exactly be a permanent return. It will be on a three-month trial period, under watch by the Government of India. Read here for more details.
