Beyonce’s crazy in love for fried chicken and splashes £2,000 on grub after show
Selling out Tottenham Hotspur Stadium night after night, the hitmaker splashed out £2,000 on chicken burgers for a private event held after her final night on stage – and rightly so.
She reportedly ordered 50 Straight Up Burgers, 20 Korean Vegan Burgers, 75 Regular Fries and 200 Naked Chicken Tenders for her entourage in celebration of her capital city take-over.
On Sunday night, the Crazy in Love star performed her Renaissance set list for the last time to thousands of adoring fans.
After serving the star, John Nelson, Chicken Shop CEO admitted it was a real ‘honour’ to provide food for the chart-topper’s after-party.
He told The Sun: ‘At Chicken Shop, we’re big fans of Beyonce and have watched in excitement as “Bey-mania” swept London this last week.
‘So it was an honour to know we were her fried chicken shop of choice when it came to satisfying the cravings of her guests at the Flannels exclusive event.’
The singer’s guests partied the night away at the Flannels X Beyonce Renaissance pop-up shop on Oxford Street.
Transforming into an exhibition space, the central London store features installations and merch for fans to purchase from her current world tour and also has pieces from the star’s couture collection collaboration with fashion designer Balmain.
Beyonce and her entourage were spotted leaving the five-star Corinthia Hotel where she was staying for the duration of her London gigs.
A source revealed about her stay: ‘Beyonce is really sweet and very gracious to everyone around her, so always wants to thank the people who are taking care of her.
‘They have gone above and beyond to look after her while she has been in the UK, so she treated them to some of the best tickets you can get.’
The comments came after it was said that she generously tipped her butler, personal chef and concierge and also gave them sets of VIP tickets to her shows that were worth more than £750 each.
Metro.co.uk contacted Beyonce’s reps for comment.
