Bengal BJP launches social media campaign to highlight post-poll violence
Posting videos on Twitter of the alleged vandalism and torture of the Trinamool Congress in the state, the saffron camp tried to counter Trinamool Congress national general secretary Abhishek Banerjee’s claims in various public forum.
West Bengal BJP state President Dilip Ghosh said, “The Trinamool Congress is trying to promote their fake model of development but in reality, it is grim as many people have been displaced due to post-poll violence in Bengal.”
At a recent media conference, Abhishek has claimed that democracy doesn’t exist in Tripura following the attack on his convoy. The BJP on Twitter had posted the picture of Trinamool cadres attacking BJP national President JP Nadda at Diamond Harbour Constituency where Abhishek is Lok Sabha MP.
Similarly, in another address, Abhishek claimed that BJP sends ‘goons’ at people’s houses. The BJP, posting videos of BJP cadres beating up BJP supporters and even destroying their houses in West Bengal.
“After post-poll violence, the BJP workers in the state have been identified and deprived of vaccination,” LoP Suvendu Adhikari said, claiming Bengal has poor COVID management.
“More than six lakh vaccines have been wasted in Bengal,” he said, adding that Prime Minister Narendra Modi, in time of pandemic, has undertaken vaccination programmes and BJP has launched the health volunteers who will work helping people in time of pandemic.
“A team of health volunteers will be created who will help people to receive vaccination. We have received people’s vote and we must help people to receive vaccination and create awareness about the pandemic,” Suvendu Adhikari mentioned.
