‘Become irrelevant’ Prince Harry and Meghan less interesting for TV viewers claims expert

Former press spokesman and royal commentator Dickie Arbiter has been opening up about the Royal Family’s foray into television. Discussing the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, he claims the UK public is “more interested” in other members of the royals.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been dipping their toe into television over the past year.

The royal couple appeared in a televised interview with Oprah Winfrey back in March, which contained some huge revelations.

As well as this, Prince Harry was part of an Apple TV+ series called The Me You Can’t See.

This is in comparison to the UK television work that senior members of the Royal Family have been doing.

According to Richard, they will be looking for the same level of control they seemingly had in the Oprah Winfrey interview.

He said: “I imagine they will expect more of the same with Netflix, and that deal will of course make them a vast amount of money as well.”

Earlier this year, Netflix confirmed what the first series they will be working on is.

In a tweet back in April, they posted: “Prince Harry has been a champion of the Invictus Games since its inception so it’s fitting that Archewell’s first Netflix series will spotlight and celebrate the competition’s amazing athletes.

“Heart of Invictus will follow the competitors as they prepare for 2022’s games.”

The series has not yet been given a release date on the streaming platform.

However, it is expected that the documentary will be airing closer to the 2022 games.
