BBC News viewers had a very strange afternoon as completely random noises were aired over the live broadcast.
As presenter Samantha went over the news of Mark Zuckerberg releasing an app to rival Twitter, listeners got an absolute earful of completely nonsense noise.
Just as the segment switched to the weather with Chris Fawkes, noises began – louder than Chris himself, beginning with a loud, long, sleepy sigh.
The next thing, the sigh turned into what sounded like a woman shouting ‘Yes!’ before possibly setting a curse on viewers as she continued in an unknown language.
It appears the noises went unnoticed in the studio while it was happening, as Chris continued on, blissfully unaware, as he revealed the UK will continue with sunny spells for the rest of the day.
There’s nothing better than a live blunder, and there have been quite a few at BBC in recent weeks.
Most recently, a woman appeared not to realise she was visible on live TV in the studio as she wandered into view to try and take a photograph in the background.
And before that, a Zoom interview with an expert was terminated just as it started, as they ran out of time – clearly not forking out for premium Zoom.
