Battlefield 2042 Beta Dates Leaked

Battlefield 2042 will seemingly have its Beta in early October, after the game was announced to have been delayed till November.

Known leaker Tom Henderson has claimed that the Beta for Battlefield 2042 will now arrive on October 6 for those who have pre-ordered the game. The open beta will then start two days later on October 8, 2021. The original plans for the game’s Beta were scheduled for September.

Earlier today, Battlefield 2042 developer Dice announced that “updates on the Open Beta will be coming later this month.” It’s possible that the official announcement for the Beta dates will be revealed sometime next week, although the community is quite concerned regarding the state of the game. As Henderson notes in another tweet, the delay for the Beta, which is supposed to help developers in getting more feedback on the game, may indicate that the game might have had a larger shift in direction than previously thought.

Meanwhile, Battlefield 2042’s pre-order bonuses for India were revealed recently on Games The Shop, which includes an official t-shirt as well as early access to the beta. The game is also set to include a new map based on a town in Gujarat, along with unannounced free to play game modes.

Battlefield 2042 releases on November 19 for PC (Steam and EA Play/Origin), PS4, PS5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S consoles. Battlefield 2042 India price is Rs. 3,999 on PS4 and Xbox One while PS5 and Xbox Series X|S owners pay Rs. 4,499. At retail, the PC price for Battlefield 2042 is Rs. 2,999.
