James Moffat has clapped back at Supercheap Auto TCR Australia Series teenager Jay Hanson after the pair collided for the second time this season.
Moffat, a two-time Bathurst 1000 runner-up, was denied a finish in race two of the Sandown SpeedSeries event after contact with Hanson at turn four of the famed Melbourne circuit.
Damage to the suspension relegated Moffat and his Renault Megane to the pits while Hanson carried on, albeit two laps down.

It marked the second incident between the pair after a sizeable crash at Symmons Plains ruled the son of Australian racing great Allan Moffat out of race three at the season-opener.
“The damage is to the left rear of the car, so that might say a bit,” Moffat said on Stan Sport’s coverage.
“I was starting to battle a little bit with the front tyres. We were just hoping for a bit more rain to cool everything down.
“We sort of have a b-pillar rule in car racing. That doesn’t really look like he’s there.
“Anyway, he’s got the quickest car in the field by a long way, that young fella, and he finds himself in a lot of incidents. I’ll just leave it at that.
“He’s racking up a bit of a scorecard and it’s all against him.”

It marked the second incident in successive races for Hanson, after he collided with Aaron Cameron in race one and bogged himself in the mud.
After the incident, Hanson reviewed the footage but offered no apology.
“Moff stuffed up a little bit here, ran a bit wide, missed the kerb a touch,” Hanson explained.
“Look at my run, right up beside him, just come down on me and that’s about it pretty much. The rest is the rest.
“Everyone’s got to leave racing room out there. Everyone has got to have their spot on the track. You’ve got to be fair to all your competitors.”
Moffat pulled up beside Hanson’s Audi RS LMS after the incident for a moment before returning to the pit lane.
Asked whether any pleasantries were exchanged, Hanson laughed and said he couldn’t offer any as his windows don’t go down.
“He was probably blowing up or something,” Hanson said.
“It’s all good. I just gave him a smile and thumbs up and on we go.
“He obviously played some games on the in-lap going nice and slow, holding me up. But that’s all good.
“We were already two laps down or a lap down. We weren’t going to recover any spots. It’s all good.”
The TCR Australia Series draws its weekend to a close at 4.10pm on Sunday (AEST).
