Barbie Forteza, David Licauco pair up for upcoming film
Barbie Forteza and David Licauco are about to get their fans lovestruck once again as they were confirmed as the leads of an upcoming film.
The love team’s film, directed by Cathy Camarillo, was confirmed by Sparkle GMA Artist Center on its official Twitter page on Monday, April 3. Additional details about the film’s title, plot, premiere date, and cast mates are yet to be disclosed, as of this writing.

The film will be produced by Pocket Media Productions, according to a report from GMA-7’s 24 Oras, as it noted that Forteza and Licauco have kicked off production for the project.
“[I’m] just enjoying the journey with Barbie. And thank you sa Pocket Media Productions dahil ang ganda ng script (because the script is beautiful),” Licauco said.
The Kapuso actress also gave a glimpse into her role during the interview, where she revealed that she would be taking on the role of a matchmaker.
Forteza and Licauco, whose onscreen match-up is now dubbed as “BarDa,” earlier starred as a lovesick pair in the music video of the hit song “The Way You Look At Me” which was released as a 20th year tribute to singer Christian Bautista.
The Kapuso stars’ pairing first gained attention in the hit historical fantasy drama “Maria Clara at Ibarra,” and went on to appear in episodes of the anthology series “Daig Kayo ng Lola Ko.” EDV
