Barbie fans can stay for free in the real-life Barbie DreamHouse in Malibu

Barbie fans may have a chance to stay in a life-sized version of the doll’s iconic Malibu DreamHouse this summer, after Airbnb announced it was listing the property ahead of the release of the new “Barbie” movie in July.

The oceanfront mansion, which is newly renovated, will be available for two, one-night stays on July 21 and 22. Guests will have the opportunity to bunk in the bedroom of Barbie’s beau, Ken. While the rest of the property is still toy pink, the DreamHouse has a few light touches courtesy of Ken, according to the listing.

“While Barbie is away, she has handed over the keys to her Malibu DreamHouse this summer and my room could be yours for the night,” reads the Airbnb listing, seemingly written by Ken. “I’ve added a few touches to bring some much-needed Kenergy to the newly renovated and iconic Malibu DreamHouse.”

Lucky vacationers can peruse Ken’s wardrobe, enjoy his outdoor disco dance floor or swim in the serene infinity pool.

Perhaps the best part of the listing is that it’s free, Airbnb said, “because Ken couldn’t figure out how to put a price on Barbie’s Malibu DreamHouse — after all, Ken’s thing is beach, not math!”

Fans can request to book Ken’s room beginning July 17 at 1 p.m. ET.

The new “Barbie” movie, directed by Greta Gerwig and starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, is slated for release July 21.
