Warner Bros. Games and Turtle Rock Studios have confirmed the release timing for the next big Back 4 Blood expansion, Children of the Worm.
The Back 4 Blood: Children of the Worm DLC releases on August 30th, 2022 for all applicable platforms, bringing with it a new campaign act, new enemies, weapons, skins, and even a new playable character in the form of Prophet Dan, who is integral to the new campaign chapter.
But when can you actually get online and start putting the new content through its paces? The game’s official Twitter account has released a handy graphic detailing the release time for Back 4 Blood: Children of the Worm across the globe. Sadly, it’s not a midnight release, but it’s near enough simultaneous. So if you often play with a buddy or two across different regions, you should all be able to get online at the same time on release day and pick up where you left off.
North America

Back 4 Blood: Children of the Worm is the latest expansion for the co-op zombie shooter and it’ll be available to Season Pass holders at no extra cost. If you’re not a Season Pass holder and don’t plan on changing that anytime soon, you’ll still be able to buy the Children of the Worm DLC separately. Though if you find yourself buying every DLC piecemeal, it would make sense to get the Season Pass and save a few pennies.
