Audiences find similarities between Pathaan’s train scene and an old Jackie Chan cartoon
Internet users are now persuaded that the thrilling train action in Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone’s movie Pathaan may have been taken directly from the animated series after discovering a scene from an old Jackie Chan cartoon. From 2000 until 2005, The Jackie Chan Adventures aired.
Salman Khan’s Tiger appears in the train sequence of Pathaan to rescue Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. In a moving train that eventually plunges into a river while crossing a bridge, they join forces to fight evil side by side. Tiger and Pathaan sprint across the train’s roof as it is falling, leaping for the ledge.
While some Pathaan fans have cited the train sequence as one of the film’s highlights, others are now pointing out that a similar scene from the Jackie Chan anime series essentially has the same format.
Many quickly claimed that Shah Rukh Khan’s appearance in Pathaan was influenced by Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series after the Pathaan train scene was compared to a moment in an Uncharted video game. The Fast and Furious and Mission: Impossible films, among others, are said to have served as inspiration for several of the moments in the SRK-Deepika Padukone film.
