ASUS ROG Phone 6, 6D, and 6 Pro Receive Android 13 Upgrade; Here Are All the New Features Rolling Out With the Update
ASUS’ foray into the mobile gaming space has been quite successful, largely due to the popularity of the ROG Phone 6 series.
Featuring models like the Phone 6, 6D and 6 Pro, the ASUS ROG lineup has solidified itself as one of the best options for players looking to game at the highest possible level. The mobile experience becomes even better, as ASUS has announced Android 13 for all three phones.
With regards to the Phone 6 and 6 Pro, the new update comes as part of software ver. 33.0610.2810.72. The new update introduces several new changes for the phone, which includes a revamped ROG UI design. Furthermore, design changes have also taken place for apps like, and more.
Additionally, Android 13 brings forth many of its classic features for elements like Quick Settings panel, notification tray, and volume panel. The lock screen also sees new additions in a QR code scanner, alongside the Control from locked device feature in the Security & lock screen setting.
For the ROG Phone 6D and 6D Ultimate variant, the update comes as part of software ver. 33.0404.1203.63. After being introduced to several beta program users, the stable version is now available to download for everyone. However, ASUS has requested users to backup their data before they make their jump from Android 12 to 13.
