The company has already shared most details about the gaming handheld, including its specifications, features, and the global launch date. According to the details, Asus execs shared an upper limit of the device with PCGamer as “below $1,000”. We are unsure if the price estimates are for the Z1 Extreme SoC model or the regular one. If they are for the top-tier hardware, this means the regular version of the Ally will be cheaper. If the company can push the price down to compete with the Steam Deck, it will sell like hotcakes.

Though Asus has not shared the India pricing for the ROG Ally, we can guesstimate based on what most companies follow with their products. This means the top-end version will likely be priced at around Rs.79,999, and the regular version may come to around Rs. 69,999 or Rs. 65,999. This pricing looks impressive considering the absence of any other gaming handheld in India in any official capacity. Even though the Steam Deck is cheaper in price, and it will continue to slip down, the claimed performance difference and official customer support are sure to attract gamers to the ROG Ally. We should note that the company has not shared details about the India launch for the ROG Ally.
