Astrology says Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck are a perfect Leo match

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez — a k a Bennifer, the couple that begot the era of celebrity name-combining — are back in the ring to take another swing at love.

The pair have been spotted most recently draped in fur and feverishly making out in front of a private jet.

Oh, to be rich and a pair of Leos in love.

While Bennifer 2.0 certainly appears happier, healthier and hotter-and-heavier than ever, what do the stars reveal about the future of this recently rebooted power couple?

Sun in Leo 

Lopez, 52, was born July 24, and Affleck, 49, on Aug. 15 — meaning both fall under the sun sign of Leo.

In astrology, the sun represents the core of who we are and the destiny we are meant to fulfill. Because these two share a sun sign, there is a fundamental sense of understanding between them. In general, Leos, who are ruled by the sun, are warm, fun-loving, unabashedly vain, unfailingly generous and emphatic when it comes to skin-care routines — and are prone to lapping up drama like a warm bowl of milk. 

Leo loves romance and luxury in equal measure, so it is no surprise that Lopez and Affleck are routinely photographed looking head over heels and designer handbags in love. Unbridled affection is a hallmark of Leo expression. Speaking from experience, I have yet to meet a Leo whose primary love language was not physical touch. Lions are natural exhibitionists who don’t mind who watches — or photographs — their heavy petting. That, coupled with their matching Scorpio moons, suggests this is a pair whose idea of movie night is watching their own sex tape. No shade, because same. 

Because Leo is a fixed fire sign, there is a strong, stubborn and downright incendiary energy to this pair, a dynamic exhibited by a fellow double Leo power couple of yore, Sean Penn and Madonna. Leo-on-Leo relationships are always impassioned and often volatile, but they never lack physical attraction or mutual respect. 

A common misconception about Leos is that they are self-centered. While it’s true that lions never shy away from the spotlight or a ridiculous rhinestone chalice, they really revel in sharing the stage by elevating others and shining their love light at the object of their affection. That modality is exhibited by Lopez and Affleck, who routinely sing each other’s praises. Affleck recently admitted he stands in awe of his lady love. The matching combination of Leo sun and Scorpio moon makes family a fierce priority for this couple. And while they don’t share children of their own, they share a dedication to being present parents, as exhibited in their blended families celebrating Halloween, taking trips to Universal Studios and attending “Hamilton” performances together.
