Assam ADRC Recruitment 2023: Notice for 12,600 Class III and IV vacancies released on sebaonline.org; application from Nov 10 – Times of India

Assam ADRC Recruitment 2023: The Assam Direct Recruitment Commission (ADRC) has issued two notifications for online applications from eligible Indian citizens registered with the Employment Exchange in the State of Assam. They are invited to apply for approximately 7,600 tentative vacancies for Class-III positions and about 5,000 tentative vacancies for Class-IV positions across various government departments and establishments in Assam.
There will be reservation of posts for various categories as per existing Government Rules.The details of vacancies including particulars of Pay Band and Grade Pay, etc. shall be published ahead of conduct of Examination along with details of reservations.
The online application process for these vacancies is set to commence on November 10, 2023, providing aspiring candidates ample time to apply. However, the window for applications will close on December 29, 2023, so candidates are encouraged to complete their submissions before the deadline. Educational qualifications for Class-III posts are categorized into three groups. Category I, requiring a Bachelor Degree, has 4,055 vacancies for candidates who passed the HSSLC (Science) Examination. Category II, at the HSSLC Level, has 3,127 vacancies. In Category III, which is at the HSLC Level, there are 418 vacancies for candidates who passed the HSLC or equivalent Examination and hold a valid LMV Driving Licence.
For Class-IV vacancies, there are different educational requirements:
Candidates who have passed the HSLC (Class Ten) or an equivalent examination are eligible for 1060 positions. An additional 1990 positions are available for candidates who have passed the HSLC (Class Ten) or an equivalent examination, provided they also hold an ITI pass certificate in the trade of wireman, electrician, fitter, welder, machinist, or Electronics Mechanic from a Government of Assam approved Institute. Furthermore, 1950 positions are open for candidates with an educational qualification of up to Class-VIII.

ADRC Recruitment 2023: Age Limit
Candidates must fall within the age range of 18 to 40 years as of January 1, 2023. Age relaxations are applicable, with a 5-year relaxation for SC/ST candidates, 3 years for OBC/MOBC candidates, 2 years for Ex-Servicemen, and a substantial 10-year relaxation for PwBD candidates.
The age of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the Matriculation/ HSLC Admit Card/HSLC Passed Certificate issued by a recognised Board/ Council. No other document shall be accepted in lieu thereof for this purpose.
ADRC Recruitment 2023: Selection Procedure
The selection procedure involves various stages. While the specifics for each post category will be provided later, candidates who pass the written examination will undergo skill tests such as Computer, Stenography, or Driving tests, as per the requirements of the position. Shortlisted candidates should bring their original documents, including Age proof, Caste Certificate (if applicable), Educational Qualifications, Computer Proficiency (where applicable), and Disability Certificate, for verification.
