But for hydrogen to be a mass success, considerable innovation in pricing, storage, transportation, availability, and economies of scale will be needed. For now, it has made a slow start.
The high-octane media attention and the general curiosity among auto enthusiasts were hard to miss when road transport minister Nitin Gadkari earlier this month inaugurated a pilot project to test the viability of Hydrogen-based vehicles in India.
