Army organises ‘Computer Literacy Course ‘ for school children in Ramban – Times of India
PRO defence Jammu said, “A total of 30 school students have registered themselves for this 28 days course which commenced yesterday at village Kanga in Ramban district.
“Over the course of next 28 days these children will be educated on vital digital literacy skills including basic computer operations, internet usage and word processing.”
Army spokesperson said, ” The computer literacy courses conducted by the Indian Army have far-reaching benefits for children in remote villages as the program promotes inclusivity by bridging the digital divide and ensuring that children from all backgrounds have equal opportunities to succeed.
“Also computer literacy empowers children to become digitally aware citizens, enabling them to access information, communicate effectively and leverage technology for personal and community development.”
“Students from different age groups have lauded the efforts of Indian Army for providing necessary exposure and guidance to the young talent, PRO Defence Jammu added.
