Army Agniveer Rally recruitment 2023 notification released; application from tomorrow on joinindianarmy.nic.in – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Indian Army has released notifications inviting online applications from unmarried male candidates for the selection tests for Agniveer intake for the recruiting year 2023-24 under Agnipath Scheme.
Interested and eligible candidates can apply online on the official website — https://joinindianarmy.nic.in — starting from February 16 to March 15, 2023. The recruitment online examination will be conducted from April 17, 2023, onward.
The recruitment notification is released for Army Regional Offices for Agra, Aizawl, Mizoram, Almora, Amethi, Bareilly, Barrackpore (WB), Berhampore (WB), Cuttack (Odisha), Lansdowne, Lucknow, Meerut, Pithoragarh, Rangapahar: Manipur, Sambalpur (Odisha), Siliguri (for Sikkim State), Siliguri (WB), for North Bengal, Varanasi, RO Kolkata, RO Shillong, Meghalaya, ZRO Pune NA and NA Vet, ZRO Pune Sepoy Pharma, Havildar (Surveyor Automated Cartographer), RO HQ Danapur, Bihar, Coimbatore, Gaya, Guntur, Jorhat, CEE Regn for all districts of Arunachal Pradesh, Katihar, Muzaffarpur, Narangi, Ranchi, Rangapahar, Nagaland, Secunderabad, Silchar, Visakhapatnam, Shillong, Central Assam, Tiruchirappalli and Chennai.
Candidates should apply only once in response to this notification. Candidates must indicate five choices of the exam centre. All Possible efforts would be taken to allot exam centres based on the first three choices.
Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Examination Fee
An examination fee of Rs 250/- per applicant is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination. The candidate successfully filling out the application will be directed to the SBI portal through a link on the website. At the SBI portal make a payment of Rs 250/- plus Bank charges as applicable.
Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Education
* Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms)
Class 10th/ Matric pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject. For boards following the grading system, a minimum of ‘D’ grade (33% – 40%) in individual subjects or grades with 33% in individual subjects and an overall aggregate of “C2” grade or equivalent corresponding to 45% in aggregate.
* Agniveer (Technical) (All Arms)
10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in Science with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 40% in each subject.
Candidates who have appeared in the class 10th and class 12th Board Exam and are awaiting the declaration of results are also eligible to apply provided they fulfil all other qualitative requirements.
Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2023: Recruitment Process
The recruitment process will be conducted in two phases. Phase I will be Online Common Entrance Exam at Computer Based Test Centres spread pan India and Phase 2 will be Recruitment Rally by AROs at Rally Venue.
