Ariana Grande once again proved why she’s a fashionable queen as she wrapped up in the cosiest pink coat for a nighttime London outing.

The Dangerous Woman hitmaker put on a smiley display as she exited The Groucho Club in the capital, wearing a strappy black dress underneath and a satin jacket over the top.

Ariana paired her quirky ensemble with her signature knee-high boots and, of course, her famous winged eyeliner, while her newly-dyed blonde locks were styled in a low ponytail.

The American singer and actress linked arms with Cynthia Erivo as she left the venue, as they star alongside one another in the big screen adaptation of the musical Wicked.

A very stylish Cynthia also kept cosy in an oversized black coat, with a smart white shirt and navy jumper underneath.

But the West End icon added a touch of sass with a killer pair of tortoiseshell boots.

Cynthia kept her head down while Ariana appeared to squint as they came out of the club, seemingly swarmed by fans and paparazzi given their, yanno, mega levels of fame.

Ariana and Cynthia have both taken on lead roles in the Wicked project, as the former Nickelodeon star will be taking on the role of Glinda, while Cynthia is playing Elphaba.

Written as a prequel to The Wizard of Oz, Wicked tells the story of how Elphaba became the Wicked Witch of the West, with the original production having hit Broadway in 2003, starring Idina Menzel as Elphaba and Kristen Chenoweth as Glinda.

The movie version has been in the works for years but has faced obstacles, including director Stephen Daldry departing.

But filming is now more than underway, as Ariana recently revealed that the crew had hit the halfway mark.

Posing underneath a rainbow, the Thank U, Next songstress expressed her gratitude for having secured the sought-after role.

She wrote to her 364million Instagram followers: ‘halfway. savoring every millisecond left with my Galinda (although she’ll be with me irrevocably, forever). she shows me so many new things every day.

‘i am so grateful, i don’t know what to do or say… to be here in Oz where everyday is a life changing one… to be feeling, learning and growing so much at such a disarming speed… to feel so much love around me, to begin each day before the sun is up and to end after it sets… to hold my brilliant twin flame / sister Cynthia’s beautiful, green hands every day… to work in the safest, most beautiful and loving, biggest-yet-most-intimate/tiny-feeling spaces… to be lead by thee most thoughtful, brilliant, compassionate and warmest possible director on this planet, my other Ozian best friend ever Jon… to be transforming and healing parts of me that i never knew needed it. or maybe did.’

‘forgive me for this most cancerian, rambly post’, she joked.

Ariana added that ‘words don’t suffice’ for how she feels, but she doesn’t ‘want it to end’ as her heart is ‘overflowing’.

‘i hope this isn’t all a dream because as present as i am attempting to be, it sure does feel like one’, she penned sweetly.

‘happy halfway to this most beautiful crew. my fellow Ozians. my heart will be stuck here forever.’

Ariana has often been open about her love for Wicked, stunning with a performance of The Wizard and I at the 15th anniversary of the show in 2018.

The chart-topper Ariana also featured on Mika’s Popular Song, a track which heavily samples and remixes Glinda’s iconic song Popular.

And she’s certainly got the backing of the OG cast members, as Frozen’s Indina previously shared her good wishes when news of the casting broke.

‘Congrats to two amazing women,’ she tweeted.

‘May it change your lives for the better forever and ever as it has for us. So much love.’

Director John M Chu also said he was ‘in tears’ when he found out about Idina and Kristin’s public support of the two new Wicked stars.

Wicked’s release date is currently slated for November 2024.
