APSRTC to arrange student special bus for Chandrayaan-3 launch – Times of India

Srikakulam: The APSRTC is arranging a special bus for the students who directly can see the Chandrayan-3 rocket launching at Sriharikota in the Nellore district. RTC has been arranging super luxury buses for the students. The Indian Space Research Organization (Isro) will launch the ambitious Chandrayaan-3 mission to the Moon on July 13 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota.
APS RTC officials had coordinated with the officials of the Space Center in Sriharikota and got special permission for the degree students. It would be a great experience for the students, especially science students to witness the rocket launching program.
Srikakulam RTC depot management is arranging a special bus on July 12 from the complex at 2 pm. As part of the tour, the RTC officials would also arrange other site-seeing locations including the Rocket Launching pad area, Nelapattu Bird Sanctuary, Pullicat Bird Sanctuary, Kanaka Durga temple in Vijayawada and Nellore Beach.
The bus would return on July 14 night and would reach Srikakulam the next day afternoon. The RTC officials fixed the price of the tour as Rs. 4100. Students can avail the opportunity, the RTC higher official Vijay Kumar said. Interested can contact on 7095040608, 9959225608.
