All glass body and a screen on the back
November last year, Apple was granted a patent for possible all-glass devices.
A revealing illustration shows how it could be implemented on the iPhone, with a screen on the back too.
It would also have functional touchscreen buttons along the side.

The idea would mean all six sides – front, back, and the four edges – of the iPhone would have the ability to display something.
Front facing camera hidden under screen
Another patent dating back only to April this year suggests that Apple wants to do away with its famous notch once and for all.
Instead, the firm wants to hide the front facing selfie camera under the screen.
This clever idea would allow you to have a completely full display with nothing getting in the way.
Colour changing Apple logo
Apple’s logo is iconic and you can’t miss it on all of their products.
A patent from 2020 reveals a way in which the logo could become colour changing on the back of an iPhone.
Typing in the rain
No smartphone works well with a splash of water on it and can cause all sorts of false touches.
Well, Apple wants to make that problem a thing of the past, according to a patent that was uncovered just a couple of weeks ago.
Documents suggest the firm could use pressure and moisture sensors to detect “moisture events” and then adapt how the iPhone reacts.
Dangerous gas detector
One potentially life saving feature Apple has worked on is a rather unique gas detector.
An ozone sensor would sniff out dangerous levels of gas in the person’s environment and alert them about it.
