Apple may include Dynamic Island for all iPhone 15 models: What to expect – Times of India
Display industry analyst Ross Young has suggested this change for the next iPhones in a tweet. Earlier, Young’s prediction about ProMotion (adaptive refresh rate) arriving for iPhone 13 Pro models and both the 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro has turned out to be true. Apart from this, Young also correctly predicted details about the displays of the iPad mini and the latest MacBook Air.
Dynamic Island expected for all Apple iPhone 15 models
Replying to a tweet by tech journalist Gordon Kelly, display analyst Ross Young suggested that the Dynamic Island feature can be expected for standard iPhone 15 models.
@GordonKelly Yes, Dynamic Island expected on standard models on the 15. Still not expecting 120Hz/LTPO on standard… https://t.co/UMGLio5fei

However, ProMotion and the always-on display feature might remain exclusive only for the iPhone 15 Pro models. Young has explained that the supply chain won’t be able to support 120Hz LTPO displays on the base models of the next iPhone lineup.
What is the Dynamic Island feature
The Apple iPhone 14 Pro models introduced the Dynamic Island feature that blends the pill-shaped cutout placed at the top of the display with the rest of the UI. The display cutout houses the TrueDepth camera system and other hardware like the proximity sensor, etc.
Apple has used advanced display algorithms and animations to make the cutout look like a part of the display that comes alive and can even interact with users.
The smaller cutout appears larger when it starts working with multiple apps for — displaying notifications, controlling music and seeing the next turn in Maps among others. This feature will also allow users to monitor Live Activities like — sports scores or online delivery tracking.
