Apex Legends Season 17 Patch Reveals Map Updates, Changes to Legend Class, Weapons, More
Respawn has unveiled patch notes for Season 17 of Apex Legends, which is all set to drop tonight.
The new season of the popular battle royale will feature a ton of new additions, which includes the arrival of new Legend August Brinkman, aka Ballistic. Along with that, the patch notes for the upcoming season reveal a ton of new changes to the game. This includes weapons, maps, Legends, and more.
Weapon changes in Season 17 of Apex Legends
Some of the most intriguing changes to the game comes from the weapons department. This includes the new buffs for the L-Star, 30-30 Repeater, and Triple Take.
There’s also the addition of Weapon Mastery, a new progression system for the game’s various weapons. Every player will begin with Lvl 1 weapons at the start of Season 17. Players can then level up the weapon by dealing damage, securing kills and more with it. Every 20 levels, players will earn a weapon-specific trial and at Lvl 100, they will master the weapon, which gives them weapon-specific badges, lifetime performance trackers, legendary weapon mastery banner frames, and a Legendary Weapon Apex Pack.
