AP Polycet 2023 results declared on polycetap.nic.in – Times of India

Vijayawada: A total of 86.35 percent of students qualified for the AP Polycet examination conducted by AP State Board of Technical Education and Training (APSBTET). Altogether 15 students secured state first rank in the examination by scoring maximum marks of 120 out of 120.
A total of 1,60,329 applied for the Polycet exam out of which 1,43,625 students appeared for the examination conducted on May 10, 2023. Out of which 1,24,021 students passed the examination.
Out of 55557 girls appeared examination 49388 passed the exam with 88.90 pass percentage. Similarly 88068 boys appeared for exam in which 74633 students passed examination with a pass percentage of 86.35 percentage.
Vishakapatnam district stood first on the list with 10,516 students cleared the examiy.
11 out of 15 students who secured first rank are from East Godavari district. Gonella Sri Rama Shashank from Kakinada, Vanaparthy Tejasri from East Goadavari are among the toppers.
Chadalavada Nagarani, commissioner of APSBTET said that ranks were allocated based on the marks obtained in the Polycet exam. In case of a tie, a candidate who secured more marks in Mathematics has been awarded better rank. Minimum qualifying mark is 25 percentage and there is no minimum qualifying mark for SC/ST candidates who appeared exam.
