Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya Motwane pose on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival

Anurag Kashyap is now in France for the world premiere of his film Kennedy at the prestigious Cannes Film Festival 2023. Anurag shared a photo of himself and filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane posing on the red carpet on Instagram Stories on Sunday. Both attended the Killers of the Flower Moon premiere, which starred Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert De Niro.

Anurag Kashyap and Vikramaditya could be seen dressed up in black tuxedos in the red carpet photograph. Resharing the pic on Instagram stories, Anurag wrote, “Wo aa gaya!!! WO AA GAYA. Meri film ke liye WO AA GAYA.” The picture was initially shared by Vikramaditya on his Instagram stories.

Meanwhile, Vikramaditya also shared a glimpse of the standing ovation Martin Scorsese’s Killers of the Flower Moon received at the Cannes film festival. The director posted close-up pictures of Martin and the actors Robert De Niro and Leonardo DiCaprio, in addition to a video of the audience from the premiere. Along with that, he showed a clip of the film’s opening.

Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap are in Cannes for Kennedy. It has been chosen for the Cannes Film Festival Midnight Screening in 2023. Kennedy stars Sunny Leone, Rahul Bhatt, and Abhilash Thapliyal in pivotal roles. The film revolves around an insomniac ex-cop, long thought to be dead, but still operating for the corrupt system, and looking for redemption.
