Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania Becomes the Second MCU Film to Have Rotten Rating; Chris Hemsworth Reacts to Thor Being Killed by Kang

Phase 5 of the MCU has finally commenced, as Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania finally makes it on to theatres around the globe.

The film stars Paul Radd as the charismatic Scott Lang aka Ant-Man, as he and his family face the MCU’s newest foe, Kang the Conqueror played by enigmatic Jonathan Majors.

Following some downturns with Phase 4 of the MCU, fans had huge expectations with the film. However, critics seems to be quite divided about the film, as the Ant-Man threequel garnered a 48% score on Rotten Tomatoes at the time of writing. This makes Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania the MCU’s second film to join the Rotten category after Marvel’s Eternals.

In IGN India’s 6/10 review of Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, we lamented about how, “the film is marred by a convoluted plot that sidelines some of the primary protagonists of the franchise.”

Chris Hemsworth responds to Kang the Conqueror’s claims about killing Thor

Despite the negative reviews, most critics have had a consensus view about the brilliant performance from Jonathan Majors as Kang the Conqueror. The film sets up the character, as a menacing villain for Marvel heroes to face off in Phase 5.

In one of the film’s scenes, the new antagonist claims that he has already battled some of the Avengers. Kang further revealed that he has even killed Thor as well. Chris Hemsworth responded to the clip from the film on Twitter with a clip of his from Avengers: Infinity War, where he claimed that Thanos won’t beat him if they fought again.

So, who would you take in a battle between the two Marvel giants? Thor or Kang the Conqueror?
