Ant and Dec ‘looking into’ getting Olivia Attwood back on I’m A Celeb

After I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! wrapped up last night, Ant and Dec returned to Instagram to interact with fans about the show. One viewer asked the presenters if they could get Olivia Attwood back on the show, claiming a “fiesty female” was missing in camp.

Ant replied: “Do you know what, that’s not a bad idea.”

Dec chimed in: “I’m gutted she’s gone.”

His co-star went on to say: “That’s not a bad idea though. I’m going to put that to the powers that be at the end of this show.

“I hope I’ll have an answer for you, some time tomorrow.”

Dec went on to joke that Ant will pretend it’s his idea to get the Love Island star back on, to which he replied: “Yeah, I always do.”

Despite calls to get Olivia back, a return to the show next year isn’t looking promising.

Speaking on This Morning yesterday, the reality star said she had already moved plans to take part in the show this year and insisted it could be tricky to do so again.

She told Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: “The problem we had this year is, luckily, which I feel so grateful for.

The 31-year-old said a routine blood test, which all the celebrities undergo at some point during the show, determined that she was dangerously anaemic.

The test also flagged up worryingly low sodium and potassium levels, which prompted staff to immediately send her to A&E.

“They couldn’t give me an answer, they just told me that they had to get me to the hospital immediately,” she told the Mail Online, reflecting on the moment.

“The results were really, really low when they put them into their reader and they consulted with another doctor off site.”

Such results left Olivia in shock as she felt “absolutely fine”.
