Angel Adoree admits it was ‘difficult’ for husband Dick’s children when she joined family

The flame-haired mother-of-two, 43, revealed that it was “weird” having two step-children around the same age as herself, before explaining how close she is to them now.

Angel shares two children with her 62-year-old husband Dick – Arthur Donald, eight and Dorothy Francis, seven.

She also has two step-children from Dick’s first marriage to wife Bridget.

The star is step-mother to James, 37 and Charlotte, 35, admitting that it is an “odd” relationship she has with them.

Angel said that despite being married to Dick for the past six years, no one has so far used the title of “step-mother” on her.

“Their kids are the same age as our kids,” she explained.

However, the star said it was “difficult” being introduced to the children at first.

Angel said: “I love them to bits and of course I think, this is probably textbook, but Dick had been separated for many, many years before he met me.

“But it always feels weird doesn’t it when there’s somebody introduced to the children – it doesn’t matter if they’re young or old, or older as they were.”
