If there is one big project that is being talked about a lot is Nag Ashwin’s next which stars India’s biggest actors – Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone and Prabhas, The three iconic stars are joining forces with visionary director Nag Ashwin and the ace South Indian production house Vyjayanthi Movies to create an epic cinematic experience for cinephiles.
Amitabh Bachchan has arrived in Hyderabad, as the film’s regular shoot commences from today. Nag Ashwin will be canning some crucial sequences on Big B and few other actors in the first shooting schedule at Ramoji Film City (RFC), Hyderabad. Interestingly Prabhas gave clap for the first shot. The actor even took to his Instagram to share a click of the clapboard from the set and said, “for the Mahurat shot of #ProjectK .. what an honour to be behind the clap being given by the icon that created cinematic magical waves throughout the Country and the World with Bahubali @actorprabhas.”
Nag Ashwin, whose last directorial was the multiple National Award Winning biopic of the legendary actress Savitri, comes with a very unique, first of its kind story for this project that has captured the imagination of India’s powerhouse acting talents from the word go and prompted them to join forces. Besides the film boasts of a host of amazing technicians and international talent as well. A new world is being created in RFC for the film and it is said to be one of the most expensive Indian projects till date.
Aswini Dutt the Veteran Producer who founded Vyjayanthi Movies and has produced several mesmerizing and timeless blockbuster films over the last five decades is producing this untitled project which marks the 50th year of Vyjayanthi Movies.
Meanwhile Prabhas is busy shooting for pan India film – Adipurush where he plays Lord Ram and Kriti Sanon plays Sita. Joining him is Saif Ali Khan as Raavan. The film is directed by Tanhaji fame Om Raut. Deepika Padukone too is busy with her films – Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathan and prepping for her next – Fighter with Hrithik Roshan.
