Amazon Prime Day sale dates leaked: Details inside

Amazon India is yet to officially announce the Prime Day sale in the country. But the upcoming annual has already started making headlines. In a latest, alleged dates of Amazon Prime Day sale in India have leaked. According to a report by MySmartPrice, the sale is likely to start in mid-July. 

Specifically, Amazon Prime Day sale may begin July 15, the report says. According to the report, it will be a two-day sale and could end on July 16, 2023. Since the dates are speculative, readers are advised to take this piece of information with a pinch of salt.

Further, if you Google search Amazon Prime Day, the result opens an Amazon web page without revealing the dates. It is rumoured that the e-company may soon announce the sale dates.

To recall, Amazon hosted the Prime Day sale on July 23 and 24 last year. The two-day sale offers deals and discounts on a range of products including smartphones, laptops, home appliances, apparels and more.

The sale also offers bank offers for Prime members. The e-tailer partnered with SBI and ICICI Bank last year to offer discounts to the customers. It is likely to do the same this year as well. 

Amazon Prime membership costs 1,499 in India. It comes with benefits like one-day delivery, early access to sale, free access to Amazon Music, 5% cash back with Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card and more.

Earlier this month, Amazon India announced Prime Lite membership in the country today. An affordable alternative to Prime membership, Amazon Prime Lite is priced at 999.

Amazon Prime Lite subscribers will get free two-day delivery along with standard delivery. As part of the plan, members will also be eligible for ‘No-Rush’ shipping to eligible addresses and receive a cashback of 25. Prime Lite members can avail 5% cash back on purchases made on the Amazon India website using an Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card.
