Since the Ofgem price cap was announced, Brits have been looking for various ways to save on rising energy bills. Argos saw sales for kettles rise up by 18 percent from Friday, September 2, following Boris Johnson’s announcement that a new kettle could help save £10 on bills per year.

In contrast, the Russell Hobbs Illuminating Glass Kettle is £39.99 on offer, making it 70 percent more expensive than the Bonnlo version.
The Bonnlo glass kettle uses 2,200W while the Russell Hobbs kettle uses more on 3,000W.
In addition, the Bonnlo glass kettle has a 1.8L capacity which is slightly bigger than Russell Hobb’s one which is 1.7L capacity.
Plus, it’s safe to use with an auto-shut off feature and has a blue indicator which indicates when its boiling.
