- The smartwatches could launch in China on October 12.
Three new Amazfit smartwatches are rumored to launch in China next week, possibly taking the form of the GTR 3, GTR 3 Pro, and the GTS 3. Now, we’re getting an early taste of what we could expect, thanks to several leaked renders and key specs of the trio.
The leaked details arrive via PassionateGeekz (h/t MySmartPrice) and suggest Huami is bringing larger displays and even more sports tracking modes to its latest models.
Let’s start with the GTR 3. The watch could pack a round AMOLED 1.39-inch display with a 454 x 454 resolution, making it the smallest of the three devices. That shell may house a 450mAh battery which is reportedly suitable for 24 days between charges. It could also land in two colorways, namely Thunder Black and Moonlight Gray. The GTR 3 Pro may be available in Sport and Classic guises. Either way, it reportedly packs a 1.45-inch AMOLED screen with a briefer body than its predecessor and denser display.

Finally, the GTS 3 could arrive with a 1.75-inch rectangular screen packing a 450 x 390 resolution. As for colorways, buyers may have three color varieties to choose from, including Tera Rose, Ivory White, and Graphite Black.
Amazfit GTR 3 and GTS 3: What else to expect
As for common features, all three watches could pack even more sport tracking modes. While the wearables predecessors could keep tabs of 90 sports, the three new watches will reportedly support 150. Arguably, that’s more than anyone would ever need. Buyers may also access “swimming pulse measurement” smarts, an SpO2 sensor, and breathing exercises.
Additionally, Bluetooth 5.1 connectivity could feature quick charging support, onboard music storage, and Spotify support. Pricing for these watches may fall between the $200-$250 range, shading the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4, Fitbit Versa 3, and other smartwatch heavyweights.
Whatever Huawei asks for the trio, here’s to hoping the company improves their fitness tracking accuracy. In our GTS 2 and GTR 2 review, we found both wanting in the heart rate and SpO2 monitoring stakes.
Amazfit’s new smartwatch trio could break cover in China on October 12, so keep your ears pinned for official details.
