The TV star showed some help was needed as she dressed in an incredible red latex outfit to front Heart’s Make Me a Million Pound Final on Friday.
In a video posted on social media, Amanda, 52, was happy to give her followers a sneak peek behind the scenes as she and a helper from her glam squad made sure the dress went on effortlessly.
Well, we say effortlessly…
It took some tugging and stretching – and a mildly awkward moment where the dresser had to put her hands right up the skirt to smooth out the garment – but in the end the dress almost looked painted on.
The outfit then had to be wiped down to ensure the latex shimmered and was dust-free before the cameras rolled.
Amanda looked happy, flashing a smile and added oversized sunglasses as she stepped outside London’s Global studios.
She paired her striking dress with matching red heels and kept her makeup paired back and simple with her blonde hair in simple loose waves.
Plenty of fans on social media praised the presenter for wearing such a daring outfit.
‘Has the menopause forgotten about you? You look amazing!’ wrote one cheekily.
‘Fair play but that looks soooo uncomfortable,’ added another.
Meanwhile, a couple were quick to joke they’d like the ‘job of the pvc dress cleaner.’
There was a practical comment in the mix of all the adoration, as one pondered how the star might go to the loo as a result of the skintight material.
She then showed off the fiery outfit in new competition promo images.
While she’s always in demand, Amanda is said to be in talks with America’s Got Talent producers, and last year she put her £5million Surrey home up for sale.
The media personality’s 17-year-old eldest daughter, Alexa, has expressed interest in a career in modelling in the past, and it has been suggested Alexa could be considering studying at an American university in either LA, Boston or New York.
As a result, the busy working mum is rumored to be considering a stateside move herself.
A source apparently told The Sun: ‘Amanda is seriously contemplating a move to the States. It feels like the time is now.’
