Amanda Bynes has been released from hospital, it has been claimed.

The She’s The Man actress was placed under psychiatric hold last month after she was allegedly found roaming the streets in downtown LA with no clothes on, in the early hours of the morning.

TMZ reports that the 37-year-old has now been released, more than three weeks after she first sought treatment.

According to the outlet, Amanda – who was freed from her conservatorship last March – left the hospital on Monday after medical staff determined that she was ready.

She is now thought to be starting outpatient treatment and working closely with doctors to make sure she gets the appropriate help going forward.

Sources told the outlet that she will be living in her own home, keeping the independence she had after her court order ended in 2022.

Amanda has yet to speak out publicly over the reports.

Last month, the Easy A star sparked concern when she was allegedly seen flagging down a passing car in the early hours of the morning in LA.

She informed one driver that she was coming down from a psychotic episode, before contacting 911 herself.

At the time, TMZ reported that she was taken to a nearby police station where she was placed on a 5150 hold.

Amanda’s parents, Rick and Lynn Bynes, reportedly ruled out any plans to put her in another conservatorship and have ‘taken comfort’ in their daughter recognizing that she was in trouble, and taking steps to get help.

Judge Roger L Lund initially ended the conservatorship, and said at the time: ‘She’s done everything the court has asked over a long period of time.’

Amanda also thanked those who had offered their ‘love and well wishes’ in a separate statement.

‘I would also like to thank my lawyer and my parents for their support over the last nine years,’ she added.

‘In the last several years, I have been working hard to improve my health so that I can live and work independently, and I will continue to prioritize my well-being in this next chapter.’

Metro.co.uk has contacted Amanda’s reps for a comment.
