B&Q – B&Q stores will be closed on the bank holiday to allow staff to pay their respects to the Queen.
Argos – Argos will also be closed on the bank holiday, as the retailer is owned by Sainsbury’s.
Primark – Primark stores across the UK will close on Monday and reopen on Tuesday. The retailer tweeted: “Our stores in the UK will be closed on Monday, September 19 to give our colleagues the opportunity to pay their respects to Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.”
John Lewis – John Lewis stores will be closed on Monday, as will most Waitrose stores.
Wickes – Wickes stores will be closed on the bank holiday, and click and collect and home deliveries will be suspended.
IKEA – The furniture outlet said in a statement on its website: “Out of respect for Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, and to enable our co-workers to participate in Her funeral, please be aware that all IKEA stores and business operations across the United Kingdom will be closed on Monday, September 19. Stores will reopen as normal on Tuesday, September 20.”
Currys – Currys stores will be closed on Monday, and Order & Collect services will not be available.
Dunelm – Dunelm stores, and their delivery and Click & Collect services, will be closed on Monday.
Wilko – Wilko stores will be closed on September 19 for the entire day.
Homebase – Homebase stores will be closed on Monday.
Lakeland – All Lakeland stores and offices will be closed during the bank holiday.
