Alienware Launches m16 and x14 R2 Gaming Laptops With 13th Gen Intel CPUs and Nvidia GeForce RTX 40-Series GPUs
Dell’s Alienware has just launched two new gaming laptops, expanding its existing M series and X series with the new m16 and x14 R2. Both the laptops come with the latest powerhouses of processors, featuring the Intel 13th Gen i7 and i9 core CPUs, along with Nvidia’s GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs.
Dell Alienware m16
The Alienware m16 features the features up to the 13th Gen Intel Core i9 13900HX CPU, along with Nvidia GeForce RTX 4080 GPU. However, the highlight of this 16-inch laptop would be its support of up to 9TB storage. The display has 16:10 aspect ratio screen with QHD+ resolution, supporting refresh rates between 165Hz to 240Hz.

Dell Alienware x14 R2
The Alienware x14 R2 boasts of being the world’s thinnest 14-inch gaming laptop. However, it also packs high-performance in this small package, featuring the 13th gen i7-13620H CPU. The laptop comes in three variants, where the base model includes the RTX 3050 GPU. The mid-tier model features the RTX 4050, while the top variant features the RTX 4060 GPU. In addition to the processors, the company claims that the 165Hz QHD+ display “heightens resolution with 97% more pixels than before.”
As laptops become thinner, the role of the heating system becomes more important than ever, especially if it is a gaming laptop. Alienware says that the x14 R2 “replaces the traditional hinge and creates space inside the laptop’s chassis for accommodating the thermal components required to meet massive power demands – allowing the device to push the limits of thinness and offering optimal performance.”

Alienware m16 and x14 R2 price and availability in India
Both the Alienware m16 and x14 R2 are now available in India. The Alienware m16 has a starting price of Rs. 1.84 lakh. The price of the Alienware x14 R2 starts at Rs. 2 lakhs. However, only the mid-tier model of the m16 and the top-variant of the x14 R2 are currently available on the Dell Store India right now.
