Alexa Bliss and Ryan Cabrera get married as NSYNC and Bowling For Soup perform
Alexa Bliss and Ryan Cabrera got married this weekend in a star studded musical affair.
The loved up couple went all out for their ‘non-traditional’ wedding with the likes of NYSNC, Bowling For Soup’s Jaret Reddick, Encanto star Stephanie Beatriz and more all stepping up.
The next morning, Alexa tweeted: ‘Ryan surprised me with performances by *NSYNC , bowling for soup, yellow card, Nash from hot chelle Rae, travis Clark from We the kings – Steve who wrote “say you won’t let go” & an amazing rock number by Stephanie Beatriz (sic)’
Honestly, peak wedding goals right there.
The couple have opened up about their nuptials and the desire to have a ‘rockstar’ feel for their special day.
Ryan told People magazine: ‘It’s very us. The whole thing’s meant to bring out our personalities, and we are far from just normal.’
The venue itself was stunning, but the pair made sure to add their own flare with a huge ‘welcome to the s**show’ sign and a hot pink carpet for their 360-strong guest list.
Instead of flowers, guests – who poured their own glass of Campo Viejo Cava champagne from a Bubble Tap trailer – were given shots in their seats.
Meanwhile, Bliss stunned in a custom gown by Netta BenShabu, and revealed: ‘The top is a mesh corset bodice with rhinestones and beaded appliqué. It has drapey sleeves that are detachable and made of the lace from the bottom of the dress, which also has the appliqué on it.’
The dress code was ‘what would Harry Styles wear?’, while their cocktail hour included games like giant Connect 4 and Jenga, while the reception – which required a ‘backstage pass’ to get in – was on a whole other level.
They set up different bars for tequila, Absolut vodka, Jameson whiskey, and wine and beer – with the latter featuring Nikki and Brie Bella’s Bonita Bonita Wine.
They shunned a sitdown meal in favour of Los Angeles food trucks Heavy Handed burgers and fries and Yamashiro Japanese, while Gastro Garage catered sandwiches and pizzas with a blow torch.
Nope, we’re not jealous at all.
