Aldi recalls popular Hiking Baby Carrier – return ‘immediately’
Aldi supermarket has over 10,000 stores in 20 different countries. They have just announced that they will be recalling their Hiking Baby Carrier.
Aldi encourages those who own the faulty item to return them to their nearest store.
They are asked to do so “immediately”.
It is important that Aldi shoppers check that they do not have this product at home.
The product details are as follows: Product Code: 804707 and Barcode: 4088500636642 Blue.

On Aldi’s website, while the majority of reviews about the baby carrier were positive, one suggested it was unsafe.
The user said: “The buckle fell off even before we put the baby in. Ended up carrying the baby for our long walk.”
Another reflected the sentiment: “Came home and tried with my one year old and one of the plastic parts broke off. Can’t even imagine if this happened when she was strapped in and could have fallen out.”
They added: “Such a shame.”
The product comes in either black or blue.
Aldi have taken responsibility for their product’s issue.
In response to customer reviews they said: “We shall closely monitor
