It’s been a bumper month for bank holidays – just weeks after we enjoyed the May Day holiday followed by the coronation bank holiday, along comes yet another long weekend, courtesy of the Spring Bank Holiday.

We’re not getting another bank holiday for a while, which means many people might want to use the day to catch up with friends and family, grab a picnic in the park – given the arrival of the warm weather – or even fire up the barbecue for the first time this year.

Or alternatively you might want to take advantage of the time off to get your weekly supermarket shop done – in which case you’ll want to be sure that your local store is open as usual.

With that in mind, what are Aldi’s opening hours on the Spring Bank Holiday, May 29?

Your local Aldi will be open as normal over the bank holiday weekend, with stores opening as late as 10 or 11pm on the Saturday and from 10am-4pm on Sunday.

Branches will also be open on Bank Holiday Monday, but opening hours may vary, with stores opening later and closing earlier than usual – many will be open from 8am until 8pm.

However these hours may vary depending on what part of the country you’re in.

Check the store finder on the website to see what time your local branch opens and shuts.

You can use the store finder tool on the Aldi website to see the exact opening hours of your local branch.

Does Aldi deliver on bank holidays?

Aldi’s in-house delivery service only delivers SpecialBuys items, which is their range of items like paddling pools, pet beds, furniture and more.

Aldi continues to deliver SpecialBuys as normal, following their delivery timeframes.

You can order groceries online and pick them up at a specified time via the store’s Click and Collect system.

You can pick these up on a bank holiday but bear in mind opening hours may be different to usual, when it comes to choosing the time you want to collect them.
