Acting legends Al Pacino and Sylvester Stallone enjoyed a pizza together over the weekend in Beverly Hills because hey, that’s Hollywood.

The two screen stars, who have between them played iconic characters including Rocky, John Rambo, Tony Montana and Michael Corleone were seen sitting down for a slice or two outside a pizza parlour on Saturday.

Al, 82, and 75-year-old Sly, both New York-born performers, were at a table with a red and white checked cloth and paper plates, with their half-gone pizza resting on a silver stand in front of them.

Both were in black, with Sly wearing a collared shirt and Al a button-up top and jacket, alongside a silver chain around his neck and a pair of his signature tinted sunglasses.

The duo reportedly drew a crowd as they chatted together over lunch, unsurprisingly, as that’s some serious Oscar-quality star power.

Sly has been Oscar-nominated twice for his acting, almost 40 years apart, in 1977 and 2016 for Rocky and Creed respectively. He was also given a nod for his Rocky screenplay too.

Meanwhile Al has been nominated for nine acting Academy Awards, winning once in 1993 for Scent of a Woman.

The two stars were reportedly filming together for a project.

They’ve previously not really shared the screen together before, bar both appearing in the compilation film Ultimate Fights from the Movies.

However, the two are firm friends and provided fans with quite a moment in 2020 when Sly introduced in-demand celebrity chef Guy Fieri to his idol – Al – while they were hanging at this house.

With a group assembled at the Demolition Man star’s home for a match (apparently Sugar Ray Leonard and Arnold Schwarzenegger were also there too, according to Guy), Sly shared a video of the chef and actor’s meeting, which he labelled ‘a meeting of the titans’.

In their exchange, we also learned that Al Pacino is ‘always hungry’ – so there you go.
